Packaging a plant for transit is simple Just follow these steps to prep and plant for shipment and off it goes. We have a couple different methods with and without a wooden dowel. Reach out with any questions!
This clip shows a plant being packaged without a wooden dowel but in our proprietary cardboard sleeve with tabs to keep the plant at the base of the sleeve.
STEP 1
We use wood fiber to cover our soil to help prevent soil spillage.
STEP 2
The wood fiber is placed over the soil, right under the foliage.
STEP 3
We then use a plastic bag to cover the planter and wood fiber portion of the plant.
STEP 4
Next we secure it tightly with a zip-tie.
STEP 5
We place the houseplant in a paper bag and secure it with a rubber band.
STEP 6
The paper bag acts as the final cover and is also a nice presentation for customers.
